Cheap tuning forks?

Another weird science thing - we use tuning forks for some of our sound experiments, don't need to be terribly accurate. Over 20+ years our stock has slowly declined from 11 to 2. Now I can only find one, which means it's time to bite the bullet and buy some.

Our usual sources have a set of 8 for £30, and individual forks around £4.50 - ebay sellers generally charge more and add postage, so there's no help there. But I really don't need high accuracy, and wonder if there are cheapo or second-hand sources I've missed. For example, I found a US company selling a set of 8 for $29, about £15 - but they don't ship to Britain. If I could find similar prices here I would be VERY pleased.

So... anyone know of anything?

Not really ... musicroom.com (UK company) do individual ones at 2.95 with free delivery over £15 (or £1.99 per order otherwise for royal mail), and have a network of affiliated high street stores (though I think your closest might be Bradford)

If it were me, I'd go into a local shop and ask for a quantity discount ("how much for ten? cash")

Three quid each isn't bad. Thanks!
