I'd always assumed a little further to the west and a quieter street - Charing Cross Road is REALLY busy and rents there are astronomical, it'd be difficult for even an angel to keep a low profile or avoid customers. Unlike the Leaky Cauldron, Aziraphale doesn't seem to be hiding the shop.
