Meme-Free Zone

It's a mixed bag. The episodes I saw were okay straight up adventures, but apparently there was a lot of Executive Meddling that got in the way of many of the early episodes that were shot (when the uniforms looked like they belonged to bellboys).

On the other hand you've got at least one which features the Equalizer as a Technomage, so that episode is probably worth at least six quid by itself.

Overall, I liked it. As Andraste once said, if it doesn't reach the B5 heights, it also avoids the lows (both as compared to the first season, which is the only fair comparison), and I bought the dvds myself. However, the viewing order is a headache, because of the executive meddling, and unfortunaly the unavoidable first episode (in any order) is the worst. So watch with gritted teeth and plug on, it's worth it from that point onwards.

Me again... will the 2nd hand DVD shop buy it back if you hate it? If you can buy it for £6 and sell it back for £3, then you'll only have paid £3 for 13 episodes...

For that price I'd say for sure. Lots of good story in those 5 seasons.
