ffuturesAm I being unduly cynical in listing brass knuckles, a jack knife and a .38 automatic with explosive bullets on the character sheet for a romantic heroine?

In the stories on which the game is based several characters (including some of the heroines) carry flame pistols, which are insanely powerful energy weapons. I think a .38 is relatively restrained - and yes, she does have normal ammo as well as the explosive bullets.

That is a fairly common automatic pistol round and used in a lot of automatic pistols, Walther PPK and so on, but you are looking at mid-30s on in Germany and later copied around the world. Quite popular for guns designed for concealability.
